Day to day deviations
What does the Savior think of me if I continue to make the same [mistakes] or to commit the same sins? (And we’re talking about ordinary, day-to-day deviations from what we want to do.) And I would just say, … the Savior considers you typical of the children of our Heavenly Father. If it weren’t typical to make ordinary, day-to-day deviations from the commandments, He wouldn’t have told us to partake of the sacrament every Sabbath day. When I was your age, I repeated them all the time. I was jealous of fellows that had more athletic ability than I had, and I had thoughts that I shouldn’t entertain. Those are what I call ordinary, day-to-day sins. And that doesn’t diminish us in the love and view that our Savior has of us. We’re put here on earth to live through that kind of thing and to grow.
