Covenant connection vs covenant relationship

Paraphrasing [[David A. Bednar]]:

I don’t really like to say a covenant relationship. I mean, it is a relationship. We use that ’cause that’s our world. We can understand relationships, but I prefer to say a covenant connection because you think of our relationships like we’ve been saying, they’re messy and even the best ones don’t even come close to the reality of how wonderful it’s gonna be in the hereafter to have that covenant connection with the Lord. The closest we can get to is to say a covenant relationship, but it’s even beyond that. I’m gonna call it a covenant connection.
