Accusation of priestcraft

I want to be upfront—I have no issue with any Latter-day Saint podcast or organization earning money through their platform. People have bills to pay and families to support. If blessings could cover orthodontist bills, I’m sure no one would mind. Personally, I earn income from teaching at BYU, leading Israel and Church History tours, speaking for schools and businesses, and receiving small royalties from books published through Deseret Book, along with promoting GABB or VidAngel on my social media.

The reality is that, aside from perhaps G. Lund, no one has built significant wealth through LDS products. The market and demand simply aren’t there.

I still receive the occasional anonymous email accusing me of “priestcraft” once or twice a month. It used to bother me when I first started. But now, I have a few letters from apostles thanking me and encouraging me to keep going. When needed, I reread those and let the critics say what they will.
